Dagou Chemical has launched a series of activities, including a survey on occupational health literacy and specialized training sessions aimed at enhancing occupational health literacy.

“The first time I was asked in a questionnaire, ‘Have you often felt anxious over the past month?’ I really did pause for a moment,” said a frontline worker after scanning the QR code and completing the electronic occupational health literacy survey.

Recently, Tianjin Dagou Chemical Co., Ltd. has organized a series of activities, including a survey on occupational health literacy and specialized training sessions to enhance it. On August 31, the company invited experts from the Tianjin Institute for Occupational Disease Prevention and Control to conduct a targeted survey on occupational health literacy directly at the workplace. The survey utilized an electronic questionnaire accessed via WeChat QR‑code scanning on mobile phones, focusing on employees’ physical and mental well‑being as well as their occupational health literacy. On-site staff provided step‑by‑step guidance to respondents, while participating employees carefully completed the questionnaire, ensuring high‑quality data collection. To provide scientific data support for the company’s subsequent research on occupational health policies and the optimization of occupational health intervention measures. 。

On September 3, the company hosted a specialized training session to enhance occupational health literacy. An expert from the Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine was invited as the keynote speaker to help employees master scientifically sound methods for physical and mental well-being, enabling them to approach their work in optimal condition. During the session, the expert provided a systematic overview tailored to the specific demands of chemical‑industry roles, covering four key areas: managing occupational stress, promoting physical and mental relaxation, practicing TCM‑based health maintenance, and regulating one’s emotions. An interactive Q&A segment followed, during which the expert addressed common health concerns—such as insomnia and shoulder‑neck fatigue—raised by participants. The atmosphere was highly engaging, with employees actively asking questions and frequently interacting with the expert. In particular, during the demonstration of breathing‑regulation techniques, attendees eagerly joined in, and many remarked, “The methods are simple and practical; I can practice them even during short breaks at work.”

This series of activities represents a key initiative by Dagou Chemical to advance healthy‑enterprise development and safeguard the comprehensive occupational health of its employees. It not only enabled a thorough assessment of employees’ health status but also effectively disseminated knowledge on occupational health and psychological well‑being. In recent years, Dagou Chemical has consistently integrated occupational health into every stage of production and operations—ranging from routine health monitoring and mental‑health support to occupational‑safety training and a company‑wide baseline survey of health literacy. The company has kept employee health management firmly in focus and ensured its effective implementation. Moving forward, Dagou Chemical will continue to refine its occupational health management system, coordinating efforts to prevent and control occupational hazards while enhancing mental‑health care for employees. By establishing a dual‑layered occupational health protection framework—addressing both physical and psychological well‑being—at an even higher standard, the company will lay a robust health foundation for its transformation, restructuring, and new‑quality growth.
