Dagou Chemical Conducts a Special Pre-Holiday Inspection of Meal Services

With the Mid-Autumn and National Day holidays approaching, ensuring food safety at employees’ dining tables has become a matter of great public concern. On September 20, the trade union of Tianjin Dagu Chemical Co., Ltd. organized employee representatives to visit Dagu Property Management, Jiangnan Renxin, and Rihuo Catering Center, conducting a special pre-holiday inspection of meal‑service operations to rigorously safeguard the “entry point” of holiday catering.

The inspection team went straight to the kitchen preparation area and the food storage room. and In the food‑service area, a thorough inspection was conducted across key processes—including food procurement, storage, preparation, sample retention, and sanitation. Each batch of raw materials—such as rice, flour, edible oils, meat, poultry, eggs, dairy products, and seasonings—was meticulously checked for production dates, expiration periods, and proper storage conditions. The team also carefully verified purchase ledgers, documentation, and supplier qualifications, with strict instructions to prevent expired, spoiled, or “three‑no” (no production license, no quality certification, no inspection certificate) foods from reaching consumers’ tables. In the kitchen, the inspection team focused on ensuring separation of raw and cooked foods, segregation of meat and vegetable items, proper categorization and use of knives and cutting boards, and compliance with food‑sample‑retention protocols. They also conducted on‑site inquiries regarding staff members’ health‑certificate holdings and the implementation of morning health checks.

In response to changes in dining volumes and the characteristics of food‑service offerings during the holiday period, the inspection team also assessed the cleaning and disinfection of tableware, gas and electrical safety, the availability of fire‑fighting equipment, and the unobstructed status of emergency evacuation routes. For any issues identified during the inspection, the team issued on‑site corrective recommendations, specifying clear deadlines and assigning responsibility, and implemented immediate remediation with closed‑loop management. At the same time, the team urged canteen managers to fulfill their primary responsibility for food safety, make advance arrangements for holiday menus and stockpile necessary supplies, and refine emergency response plans, ensuring uninterrupted service, consistent quality, and robust safety measures.

“Only when employees can eat with confidence can they work with peace of mind,” said Jiang Biao, a representative of the inspection team. “Food‑service safety is directly tied to employees’ vital interests; the more it’s a holiday, the less we can afford to let our guard down.” Moving forward, Dagou Chemical will continue to strengthen routine oversight and spot checks throughout the food‑service process, keep channels open for employee feedback, and promptly address their dining‑related concerns, ensuring that all staff can eat with confidence and work with peace of mind—ready to devote themselves wholeheartedly to the company’s transformation, restructuring, and pursuit of high‑quality, new‑type development.
